THE TEAM BEHIND THE TEAM
Behind the Golden Rockets is the Golden Junior Hockey Society, a community-based organization dedicated to keeping junior hockey strong and thriving in Golden.
The Society oversees the operation of the Golden Rockets, working alongside coaches, staff, volunteers, billet families, sponsors and community partners to provide young athletes with the opportunity to develop both on and off the ice.
Running a junior hockey team takes a community, and the continued support of Golden plays an important role in making each season possible. From packing the Plywood Palace on game night to opening homes to players, volunteering behind the scenes and supporting the team through local sponsorship, every contribution helps keep Rockets hockey moving forward.
