The Golden Rockets haven’t wasted any time this offseason. The coaching staff is on the road searching for talented players to add to their roster for the 2024-25 season, which kicks off in the fall.
Head Coach Jared Houseman and his assistants have already made several scouting stops, including the Canadian Sport School Hockey League championships in Penticton and the BC Under 18 AA Provincial Championships in Nanaimo. Their goal is to scout prospects who could potentially join the Rockets for the upcoming season.
Attracting talented young athletes is a competitive market, so Coach Houseman and his crew got off to an early start this year and will be attending games and tournaments throughout BC and Alberta over the coming months in search of future Rockets players.
“We will continue to be all over the recruiting trail, finding lots of talented players with good character habits. It’s important to have boots on the ground to be able to watch and evaluate players. We have been busy this offseason and are excited for next year.” – Jared ‘Jed’ Houseman, Rockets Head Coach and GM
