Golden Rockets goalie Levi Hall is moving on to play for the expansion Niverville Nighthawks of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League in 2022-23 season thanks to the work he put in.
“His hard work on and off-the-ice helped him become an elite goalie in the KIJHL,” said Rockets Head Coach and GM Chuck Wight. “His natural athletic abilities were on display on a regular basis.”
In his lone season with the Rockets in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, the Stony Plain, Alberta product had seven wins with a .910 save percentage and a 4.02 goals against average.
“I came into Golden and did my job. I felt my game was improving tons game in and game out,” said Hall. “Golden not only developed me as a good goalie, but helped me be an even better person.”
“It was a great pleasure to work with Levi and see him develop his game throughout the season,” said Wight. “His maturity and leadership were a welcome presence within our team. We wish Levi all the best with his future hockey and academic pursuits.”
